Jason Tarver, 37, is leaving his position as co-defensive coordinator for Stanford.

Jason Tarver, a 1993 Foothill High School graduate, is leaving his job at Stanford to take the defensive coordinator job with the Oakland Raiders.
He will replace Chuck Bresnahan.
Tarver spent the last year as co-defensive coordinator for Stanford, which ranked either first or second in the Pac-12 in six defensive categories. Before that, he was with the 49ers.
