Foothill High Teacher Arrested on Drug Charges

Teacher arrested Oct. 26, according to public records.

From Staff Reports — A teacher was arrested Oct. 26 on drug charges, according to online police records.

Arrested was Stephanie Deffner, 32, of Pleasanton on suspicion of possession and use of a controlled substance, a narcotic.

Deffner teaches economics and Advanced Placement humanities. According to one of her students, a substitute teacher was recently working in class.

She was booked at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin on $12,500 bail. According to the Alameda County inmate locator, she is not currently in custody.
