Donlon Elementary Names New Principal

Stephanie Ceminsky was assistant principal at Amador Valley High.

Stephanie Ceminsky, who served as an assistant principal at this past school year, was selected as the new principal at .

Ceminsky will be the third principal in as many years at the grade school, replacing former Donlon head .

Simione, who resigned in June due to a relocation to the East coast, took over the prior year for .

Ceminsky, selected following interviews held last week, has nine-plus years as a school site administrator, plus past stints as assistant principal at elementary, middle and high schools, and as a summer-school principal,  according to the Pleasanton Unified School District.

She also has classroom experience teaching grades one through four, grade six and special-education students.

Ceminsky earned her Bachelor's degree from St. Catherine University (formerly the College of St. Catherine) in Minnesota, and her Master's degree in educational leadership from Saint  Mary's College, Moraga.

Ceminsky looks forward to meeting Donlon staff, parents and students as she takes on her new assignment, according to a PUSD news release.
