Photo Gallery: Pleasanton PTA Council Recognizes Student Artworks
The Pleasanton PTA Council has selected the work of students in photography, visual arts, literature, musical competition, dance and film/video production.
The arts are alive and well in Pleasanton as witnessed by the PTA Council's eighth annual Reflections program.
Hundreds of students from kindergarten through 12th grade submitted entries to the arts program. About 60 were recognized Dec. 1 and their work showcased at the Firehouse Arts Center, where students also gave presentations and performed.
Selected pieces from Pleasanton will advance to the Peralta District PTA, representing Alameda County.
Chosen works will compete at the state and national levels. The Reflections program gives students the opportunity to be creative and have their work recognized.

Marnette - just a small clarification. The artist entries selected by the Pleasanton PTA Council will advance to the next level - Peralta District PTA (which represents Alameda County). If selected to advance by the Reflections judges at that level at a separate ceremony, their work will advance to the State level. California State PTA judges evaluate the work from all around the state and select entries to advance to the National level. Thank you for the coverage and supporting our students' work here in Pleasanton!
