Police Log: Robberies, Missing Persons, Molestation

Along with armed robberies of a convenience store and mall shoppers, the  Pleasanton Police Department last week handled calls for missing persons, residential burglaries and suspected child molestation.

Sunday, Feb. 19

• Drunk-and-disorderly arrest of a male, 28, made at 1:50 a.m. along 4800 Hopyard Road. 
• Armed robbery reported at 12:08 p.m. in the parking lot on the 1000 block of Stoneridge Mall Road.
• Car break-in logged at 4:11 p.m. on the 4900 block of Breakwater Avenue.

Saturday, Feb. 18

• Drunk-and-disorderly arrest made of a 22-year-old woman at 12:59 a.m. along 4800 Hopyard Road.
• Two vehicular burglaries logged: 10:17 a.m. on 1000 Stoneridge Mall Road; and at 5:21 p.m. along 3200 West Lagoon Drive. The Lagoon car's lock was reportedly pried open and a purse, sunglasses and a backpack, valued at a combined $720, were stolen.
• Death investigated on the 60 block of Peters Avenue at 2:20 p.m.
• Two individuals, a 19-year-old man and a female, 25, were cited in separate suspected shoplifting incidents at 11:47 a.m. and 3:56 p.m. on 1400 and 1500 Stoneridge Mall Road.
• Vehicle reported stolen at 3:50 p.m. on 1000 Stoneridge Mall Road.
• A 20-year-old man was arrested at 10:40 p.m. on the 5400 block of Sunol Boulevard for suspected controlled-substance possession.

Friday, Feb. 17

• DUIs reported at 1:41 a.m. on Main and St. John streets, and at 10:34 p.m. on Santa Rita and Morganfield roads.
• Car break-in reported at 3:58 p.m. on the 3200 block of West Lagoon Road, where access was reportedly gained through a window with a $40 loss of a purse, wallet and credit cards.
• Thefts cited at 11 a.m. on 1100 Santa Rita Road, and at 6:16 p.m. along 1300 Stoneridge Mall Road. A woman, 53, was cited for shoplifting in the Stoneridge case.
• Public-intoxication arrest made of a male, 19, at 10:18 p.m. on Stoneridge Mall Road and Stoneridge Drive.
• Stolen vehicle reported at 4:31 a.m. on the 7500 block of Ivy Court.
• Another stolen vehicle report, for a 1999 green Honda Civic, logged at 1:23 p.m. along 1000 Stoneridge Mall Road.
• Armed robbery of the 7-Eleven store on the 4300 block of Valley Avenue reported at 11:08 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 16

• DUI arrest of a Castro Valley male, 21, reported at 1:40 a.m. along 3800 Hopyard Road.
• Incident of indecent exposure was reported at 11:08 a.m. along 5700 West Las Positas Boulevard.
• Contempt of court violations and police obstruction were reported at 5:12 p.m. on the 3200 block of Touriga Drive.
• Domestic assault and false imprisonment were reported at 9:26 a.m. on the 2300 block of Santa Rita Road.
• Identity theft logged at 4:54 p.m. on the 4000 block of Page Court.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

• Public intoxication arrest of a Dublin man, 45, made at 3:17 a.m. on 3800 Vineyard Avenue.
• A 68-year-old Pleasanton man was arrested at 9:37 a.m. on the 4700 block of Del Valle Parkway for suspicion of felony sexual abuse of a child. His arraignment was scheduled Feb. 17.  
• Two missing-person cases filed: at 8:26 a.m. on the 900 block of Madiera Drive; and at 12:35 p.m. on the 4800 block of Muirwood Drive.
• Petty theft arrest made of a Livermore female, 20, at 4:45 p.m. on 1500 Stoneridge Mall Road.
• Residential burglary was reported on the 6100 block of Inglewood Drive at 4:22 p.m.
• DUI reported at 11:16 p.m. on Valley and Bernal avenues.

Tuesday, Feb. 14

• Identity theft case filed at 9:16 a.m. on the 4100 block of Peregrine Way.
• Residential burglaries reported at 9:37 a.m. on 7400 Stonedale Drive, and at 6:31 p.m. along 4100 Walnut Drive.
• Multiple thefts included: 2400 Heatherlark Circle at 11:09 a.m.; 1800 Valley Avenue at 6:30 p.m.; and two from the 7400 block of Muirwood Court at 12:15 p.m. and 1:35 p.m.
• Marijuana possession reported at 8:41 p.m. on 400 Vineyard Avenue. 

Monday, Feb. 13

• A 36-year-old Pleasanton woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery at 10:11 p.m. on the 1100 block of Crellin Road.
• DUI arrest of an 84-year-old woman reported at 7:14 p.m. on Foothill Road and Bernal Avenue.
• Thefts logged at 8:42 a.m. from 1500 Stoneridge Mall Road, and at 7:26 p.m. from 6200 Hansen Drive.
• Forgery and theft were reported at 3:53 p.m. on the 1800 block of Plumeria Court.
• Identity theft filed at 7:50 p.m. from 1100 Baur Court.

Sunday, Feb. 12

• A 30-year-old San Francisco female was arrested at 1:07 a.m. on Hopyard and Golden roads for suspected DUI.
• Two public intoxication arrests made: at 1:52 a.m. of a Modesto female, 21, on 5500 West Las Positas Boulevard; and at 2:15 a.m. on 2400 Heatherlark Circle of a 21-year-old Pleasanton man.
• Theft on the 8300 block of Regency Drive was reported at 10:34 a.m.
• Missing-person case filed at 9:58 a.m. on the 1600 block of Calle Santiago.
• Narcotics and paraphernalia arrest made of a male at 9:01 a.m. along 2000 Santa Rita Road.
• Controlled substance, paraphernalia and warrant  arrest made of a 36-year-old Susanville female at 7:40 p.m. along 4800 Bernal Avenue.
