Come to Robot Garden intro!

Robot Garden is a community technology workshop. Meetup on Mon Nov 12 to hear our plans. We're also hosting an FLL robot competition on Nov 18 at iGate in Livermore. All welcome!

Robot Garden is a community workshop (501c3 pending). We aim to provide infrastructure so that people can engage in and collaborate on technology projects. We promote innovation and interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by using robotics and creative or artistic projects to inspire and educate.

We've been offered a space at iGate Innovation Hub in Livermore! Come hear about the plans and how you can get involved. Meet other makers and let us know what equipment you most want. See some of the robots and STEM education robotics we want to facilitate.

We hope to have the Robot Garden doors open in 2013 and we're kicking things off early by hosting an FLL (or FIRST LEGO League) tournament on Sunday November 18, sponsored by Innovation TriValley and Sandia. FLL is a robot competition aimed at 8-14yr olds aimed at helping young people discover the excitement and rewards of science, technology, and engineering.
