Fairlands
Elementary is excited to announce their plans to create an outdoor science classroom.
The project was recently approved by the school district and will be
coordinated through the Fairlands Green Team and PTA. The plans include drought
tolerant native plants, various rock types, a weather station, and seating for
plant adaptations, insect studies and the water cycle in a real world setting. The
eco-friendly design reflects our natural regional landscape and will require
less water and maintenance by the district which also promotes water
conservation and environmental stewardship. Tax deductible donations of any
amount from individuals or businesses passionate about the environment and
