Freestyle Motocross Coming to Alameda County Fair

Every day at this year fair will feature freestyle motocross.

There's going to be a new spectacle at the Alameda County Fair this year and it will surely lead to lots of awwwwwws and ooooooooos.

For all 17 days of this year's fair, freestyle motocross, or FMX, will be featured, according to Alameda County Fair officials.

Not all the details are ironed out, but there will be shows three or four times a day. Fair officials say the TNT Freestyle Motocross will be adjacent to the Green Gate.

This summer at the Alameda County Fair, the most Extreme athletes in sports, the freestyle motocross riders will be flying through the air! These top action sports athletes will be flying 75' through the air reaching heights of 35' and doing mind blowing tricks such as Hart Attacks, cliff hangers and the crowd favorite back flips. If you have never seen this sport live before, get a front row seat because it is spectacular!

Rider Lance Coury is from West Hills, California. Coury is one of the top up and comers of the sport. Riding since the age of four Coury is now competing in some of the biggest freestyle contests in the world. In 2009 Lance took 1st place in the AFMXA Pro-Am. Coury has also competed in Red Bull X-Fighters and Dew Tour. Coury is also one of the stars in the hit TV show “The Great Wide Open.”

Dustin Miller is from Austin, Texas. Miller is one of the veterans of Freestyle Motocross, but also one of it’s stars! Miller has won X Games Medals and competed for wins around the world at FMX events such as Red Bull X Fighters. Miller is known for some of the most technical trick combinations in the sport while having some of the biggest tricks such as the backflip.

Jesse Jolson is from Sacramento. Jolson is always on the cutting edge of new tricks. Jolson has multiple IFMA contest wins and recently placed second at the AFMXA contest. Jolson trains constantly at his compound in Sacramento, learning new tricks into the foam pit. As Northern California’s top freestyle rider, Jolson takes extra pride when riding in that area! Jolson has been featured in all of the national motocross magazines and on Fuel TV.
