Pleasanton Military Families Collecting Items for Holiday Boxes to Troops

The local group will be taking donations at the Good Guys Car Show on Nov. 10-11

The Pleasanton Military Families group will be teaming up with the Good Guys Car Show on Nov. 10-11 to collect care and comfort items to send in holiday packages to troops deployed overseas.

If you are interested in donating to the Pleasanton Military Families, you can drop your donations at the Alameda County Fairgrounds "Yellow Gate" off of Pleasanton Avenue.

The following is a list of the types of items being collected: proteins, drinks, snacks, personal items, clothing, entertainment and other miscellaneous items. Click here for a full list of specific items accepted.

Veterans get in free (with identification) to the show on Sunday, Nov. 11. The Pleasanton Military Families group will have booths at the front and back gates and kids can fill out cards to send to the troops.
