Pleasanton Team Competing in Little League World Series

The 13-year-old players from Pleasanton are Harvest Park and Pleasanton Middle School students. The team will play tomorrow at 6 p.m.

An excited team of 13-year-old little league players will be representing the Pleasanton National Little League at the Little League World Series this week in Livermore.

The Pleasanton National Little League team won the bid as the host team by winning the  District 57 tournament, according to Kathy Kobayashi.

The players are from Harvest Park and Pleasanton Middle Schools. The team manager is Dave Lander and the coaches are Dale Wolfe and Bob Kaufman.

The players from Pleasanton are:

  • Drew Kobayashi
  • Quinn Brinnon
  • Trevor Wallace
  • Jimmy Kaufman
  • Evan Wolfe
  • Cal O'Loughlin
  • Nick Orecchia
  • Max Lander
  • Max Heverly
  • Nate Lau
  • Trevor Bergmann
Kobayashi says they are a team of strong hitters and multi-sport athletes. 

According to the Pleasanton National Little League website, there are six United States teams and four international teams competing in the 20 games played over seven days.

The team is scheduled to play the Georgetown Little League team on Tuesday at 6 p.m., according to the game schedule posted on the Little League World Series website.
