Pleasanton North Rotary Scores Success on “A Starry Night”

The event was held at the Ruby Hill Winery on September 29, 2012.

From the Pleasanton North Rotary:

Numerous community programs will be benefit from a successful of “A Starry Night,” an evening of dining, dancing, and charitable giving, sponsored by Pleasanton North Rotary.

The black tie optional event at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton, Sept. 29, drew an audience of 250 guests. More than 70 donated items were purchased during silent and live auctions.


Mark Ibanez, sports director of KTVU Channel 2 was master of ceremonies. Frank Jakubka was auctioneer.

Funds dedicated to special Fund-A-Need projects will assist Pleasanton Rage Soccer Club for the construction of all-weather sport fields in Pleasanton, First Tee of the Tri-Valley, and School of the Imagination in Dublin. Funds from a 50/50 raffle were designated to our Latin American Wheelchair program.

A Starry Night coincided with Pleasanton North Rotary’s 25th anniversary and the designation of September 24-30 as “Pleasanton North Rotary” Week by the Pleasanton City Council.
