Today's Fair, June 22: 38 Special, Cattle Show and Kids Get in Free

Today's Promotion: Kids Free Friday

Concert: 38 Special, 7 p.m., Amphitheater

Highlights:

Youth Dairy Cattle Show followed by Open Show in the Livestock Exhibits, and Rabbit Show in the Small Animals area. Starts at 9 a.m.

Puppy Party Palooza & Dog Adoption, Kids’ Park, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

11:45 a.m. Horse Racing Seminar, The Starting Gate Bar

1 p.m. 5-8 Year Old Table Setting Contest, Food & Fiber Art

2 - 5 p.m., Super Kids Fridays, Festival Square

7 p.m. Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pulls, AgVenture Park

At the Race Tracks: Horses run from 1:15-5:45 p.m. at the race track.

Weather: High - 69, Low - 51

Getting There:

  • General parking at the fairgrounds, $8, preferred parking (Gate 8), $15
  • BART shuttle available from the Dublin/Pleasanton station
  • Catch a Wheels Route 8 bus, which has a drop-off at the fair on Pleasanton Avenue. BART riders go right upon exiting the fair gate to get to the Route 8 bus bay.

That's why we put this video together. So that way when the people who don't rely on them have to communicate with those that do, that they have an easy way to do so.
