Chances are you have eaten there...

By AUTUMN JOHNSON

Pleasanton is well-known around the East Bay for its many spooks and specters rumored to lurk in the historic buildings along Main Street. One of those buildings, the Blue Agave Club, was recently featured on ABC's 20/20.

Owner Susie Garcia appeared in a segment of the most recent episode that investigated the macabre interest and popularity of buying haunted properties.

Garcia tells ABC News about regularly hearing footsteps in the building located at 625 Main Street.

During the segment, Garcia says, "If you are a manager ready to close, you always have a buddy at night."

It's no surprise that there are a few lingering spirits in the restaurant which opened in 1997 in the 145-year-old building that was once a home.

Other areas in Pleasanton famous for having spirits including the Gay Nineties Pizza Co., Town Center Books, the Rose Hotel, the Pleasanton Hotel, Salon Esencia, Clover Creek and Leslie Marie’s Spa.

Have you experienced any spooky experiences while at the Blue Agave? How about any of the other businesses on Main Street? Tell us in the comments section.
