Alice and Wonderland Preview Performance

The will host on Feb. 11 a preview performance of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland as performed by the Pleasanton Civic Arts Stage Company, in collaboration with the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival.

This event offers patrons a complimentary glimpse of the upcoming production of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland scheduled later in the month at the in downtown Pleasanton.

Based on the legendary tale by Lewis Carroll, the 2 p.m. program will feature scenes from the play performed by youth cast members from the Pleasanton community.

Afterward, the cast will join Director Rebecca J. Ennals and Assistant Director Michael Truman Cavanaugh for a question and answer segment with the audience and introduce some of the mask and puppetry techniques used in the show.

As a special treat, audience members will also have the opportunity to create their own theatrical masks. This free program is best for children ages five and older. No registration is required.

The full stage production of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland will be performed Feb. 29 through March 1 at the Firehouse Arts Center. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit www.firehousearts.org or call the box office at (925) 931-4848.
