Family Day

Celebrate the Museum on Main's new "Rail World Trains and the Tri-Valley" exhibit with Debra Knox and the Go Dogs that will perform railroad-themed music. There will also be railroad-themed crafts and activities for all ages.

The exhibit opening November 9 is presented by the Museum, the Niles Canyon Railway and Alameda County Central Railroad Society. The exhibit will examine the railroads part in the development of the Amador-Livermore and San Ramon valleys and feature a variety of images and artifacts relating to the railroads, including real switches and signals from the collection of Chris Rizzoli, model locomotives and rail cars from the membership of the Alameda County Central Railroad Sociey, and both original railroad artifacts and model trains from the collections of the Pacific Locomotive Association, operators of Niles Canyon Railway.
