Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6298 will host the 2011 Tri-Valley Veterans Day Parade on Main Street in Pleasanton from Old Bernal Road to St. Mary's Street.
The theme of this year's parade is "Army Strong."
This annual event features military and veteran color guards, marching bands, military vehicles, horses, a Viet Nam era helicopter and more.

The parade review stand is in front of the Museum on Main Street.
Immediately following the parade will be a ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Building (301 Main Street).
