"Boobie Traps" in Tri-Valley?

Not the dangerous traps kind of traps, rather, traps that help raise money and awareness for breast cancer while making people smile

In honor of breast cancer awareness month, one group is going back to giving Tri-Valley neighborhoods a lift and a laugh while raising money and awareness for breast cancer.

According to the Boobie Trappers, they have been "boobie trapping" in the Tri-Valley since October of 2011 and there are four of us (sometimes five) that go out and trap homes.

The Boobie Trappers write:

"Three of us planned to walk this past season and all three of us were able to raise enough money through. We made a total of $3,076.00 from boobie trapping. We did a total of 81 homes since we starting in October 2011. From the beginning of February to the end of July (when we took a break) we trapped 44 homes. We are just now starting to get back into trapping. We thought October would be a good time since it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. At least two of us are planning on walking again next year in 2013 for the Susan G Komen 3-Day for a Cure."

Anyone can donate to arrange for a to be Boobie Trapped. The trappers will trap most addresses in Pleasanton, Livermore or Dublin.

The donations go to the Susan G Komen 3-day fund. Contact: boobietrapped4@gmail.com or call 925-454-0094.

So glad you got this resolved. When I saw your plea for help, I put in a call to Public Works andRead More they transferred me to Police/Animal Services. They told me that someone had already been dispatched.

Many thanks to Police/Animal Services. Next order of business is to educate residents not to allowRead More ducks to nest on their property that is not adjacent to natural waterways or canals - it may seem cute, but it's cruel when the mama duck loses babies to cats and storm drains.
