Downtown Pleasanton to Host Two Holiday Events on One Fun-Filled Day

Downtown will come alive with holiday cheer on Nov. 19 for two “magical” community events.

The will partner with Livermore Downtown Inc. (LDI) for the second year of “Earlier Than the Bird” from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 19.

This popular event is designed to launch the holiday shopping season in a festive and entertaining way, and provide amazing deals at unique downtown stores before Black Friday. 

Participating downtown retail shops will be open at 7 a.m., providing special offers and refreshments. 

Shoppers who arrive wearing their pajamas will receive a free “Downtown Livermore/Downtown Pleasanton” winter scarf as a gift.

Also, KKIQ will have their promotions team, van, prize wheel and more in downtown from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and will make live remote announcements about the event.   

On Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., downtown Pleasanton will host its annual holiday kick-off – “Magical Holiday Evening.” 

Downtown shops, restaurants and businesses will usher in the holidays with festive decorations, twinkling lights, beautiful window displays, holiday treats and, of course, sales.

Santa and his helpers will be available at the Museum on Main for photos while elves will roam the street distributing candy canes. 

Live entertainment and childrens’ activities will add to the festive holiday atmosphere.
