From Bay City News:

Residents and visitors of Pleasanton now have a new way of finding local shops.

The city of Pleasanton announced the launching of the city's local shop website, www.inPleasanton.com, today, according to the city.

The site, which has been in planning for about a year, encourages consumers to shop, dine, and discover new spots in Pleasanton, according to the city.

In addition, the site will offer local retail and dining businesses the opportunity to market itself and raise awareness to what it has to offer, according to the city.

The businesses can also be interactive with the site after creating a business account.

Visitors can look up shops by category or shopping center, find dining spots by one of the 14 categories, and live/play spots are listed alphabetically. All businesses are put on interactive maps, as well.

Users of the site will also be able to subscribe to the site and receive newsletters with special announcements, campaigns and news by email, according to the city.

Facebook and Twitter accounts have also been created to promote the site and urge consumers to shop and dine and Pleasanton.

This is great to hear! By chance, do you know if the man who helped was Roy Fickin?

So glad you got this resolved. When I saw your plea for help, I put in a call to Public Works andRead More they transferred me to Police/Animal Services. They told me that someone had already been dispatched.

Many thanks to Police/Animal Services. Next order of business is to educate residents not to allowRead More ducks to nest on their property that is not adjacent to natural waterways or canals - it may seem cute, but it's cruel when the mama duck loses babies to cats and storm drains.
