Pleasanton Brew Crawl In Photos

Hundreds turned out to stroll from business to business to enjoy a little trick-or-drink

Residents visiting downtown Pleasanton on Saturday got to watch an unofficial parade of Halloween revelers attending the Pleasanton Brew Crawl.

The annual event was hosted by the Pleasanton Downtown Association and brings out those seeking a taste of local beers along with a little nosh while visiting businesses along Main Street.

The $30 ticket paid for a commemorative beer glass and tasting map and allowed guests to visit more than twenty local businesses to try the brews. Many of the guests attended decked out in their Halloween costume alter egos.

Participating downtown businesses included: Balloons and Beyond, Bellezza Cristali’s Hair Salon, Bicycles! Pleasanton, Clover Creek, Fleet Feet, Jewelers Gallery, Murphy’s Paw, Pans on Fire, Prim, Renee Huber State Farm, Salon 645, Serenity Stoneworks, Sincerely Yours, Studio Seven Arts, Towne Center Books and Vision One.

Participating Breweries included: 21st Amendment, Ale Industries, Black Diamond, Buffalo Bill’s, Coney Island, Firestone Walker, Gordon Biersch, Handles Gastropub, High Water, Knee Deep, Lagunitas, Lost Coast, Mendocino Brewing Company, Pleasanton Main Street Brewery and Sierra Nevada.

OK.. I know I will be slammer for saying this... but who takes their baby on a pub crawl? That is why there are baby sitters.

A new mommy who isn't drinking. We left at bedtime, thank you for being so judgmental. So sorry I read this today, hope people are kinder to you than you were to me.

Yes…you do deserve to be slammed! Absolutely nothing wrong with a young family spending time together and supporting our local establishments. There are far too many parents that don’t include their children; possibly, you are one of them. Typically, both moms and dads have to work these days. Why give up that special family time? This looks to be just a fun time out for a Halloween stroll!

I met this family in person. Baby was having a great time enjoying a beautiful night out. I thought their costumes were great as well. On a different note.. There were photographers outside the firehouse (where tickets were being picked up/purchased). Anyone know where those pictures are posted?
