Rancho Grande Taqueria to Reopen After Recovering from Fire

The popular taqueria was closed due to a fire in September

Residents in need of their burrito fix in Pleasanton will be happy to know that the Rancho Grande Taqueria, which has been closed down since a fire on Sept. 19, will soon be reopening.

Although the phone recording says the restaurant "will be closed until further notice," the sign on the window says they will be reopening soon. The exact date of the opening is not yet known but the appearance of the sign and the work being done inside shows the restaurant is on the road to recovery.

According to the sign, customers can still order their annual holiday tamales by calling either of the two numbers listed.

The September fire, which started in the kitchen and spread up the wall, knocked out power to the entire shopping center.

Rancho Grande Taqueria is a well-known favorite of Pleasanton local, John Madden.
