Sprouts & Shutters: New Antique Shop, Indian Grocery Store and More

The Danville Yoga Center recently changed hands and is now Danville Yoga & Wellness Center. New owners Maria and Mark Haswell say they will soon add new classes to the studio’s regular class schedule plus will feature new workshops and special events focusing on personal and spiritual growth. Leslie’s Pool Supplies will open a store next to Big 5 in the Crow Canyon Commons shopping center. A spokesperson for the national pool care and supply company says that, depending on the permit process, the store will likely open at the end of April. Leslie’s Pool Supplies also has stores in Dublin, Danville and Livermore.

Clementine’s owner Pete Kearney said that his New Orleans themed restaurant will hold its grand opening April 28. Kearney had originally hoped to open his new San Ramon restaurant at the end of February and then pushed the opening to the end of March. He says he’s now shooting for a soft opening around April 20. Dublin’s new Antiques & Eclectika opened on March 17 on Village Parkway in the Village Green Shopping Center. The new store, owned by Alfonso Estate Liquidation Service, sells art, jewelry, vintage clothing and furnishings from the Victorian era, 1950s and other popular periods. Cotton On will move into Quiksilver’s old space in the Stoneridge Shopping Center. Carrie Williams, director of marketing and development for the center, said the Australian-based clothing retailer will start construction soon and should open by this summer.

Opening Update: Zakuro Japanese Bistro, previewed in a February column, opened early in March on Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton.

Opening Update: , the Korean eatery previewed in a February column, is now open on Hopyard Road.

New Delhi Grocers opened in December in the Springtown Center on Bluebell Drive in Livermore. The new grocery store sells fresh produce, dairy and grocery products, Puja items, henna tattoos, Pashmina shawls, bangles plus a snack area with ready-to-eat Chaat Papdi, Bhelpuri and more.
