After nearly three years in business, Danville’s Stomp served its last glass of wine May 26. The small Blackhawk Plaza eatery, which focused on boutique wines and small plates, closed to make way for the new Ferrari’s Cucina Italiano. The new Italian eatery, previewed in an , is set to open at the end of June.


Tribez Salon, located near downtown Danville, is opening its second salon soon in the Blackhawk Plaza. The full-service salon and spa will open in mid June in Salon 4062's old spot adjacent to Draeger's Market. The new salon's expanded services include a blow dry bar and an eyebrow bar. Just in time for summer learning: ThinkTank Learning, a business that focuses on college preparation and private tutoring, plans to open soon at the Plaza at Gale Ranch. ThinkTank Learning joins a growing list of other education centers in San Ramon, including Kumon, Mathnasium, the Tutoring Club, Sylvan Learning Center, Centerpoint Academy, Lil’ Genius Kid and others. A new store for triathletes is opening on Dublin Boulevard next to the . Tri Now Fitness is closing its small, online-focused business in Pleasanton and opening its new Dublin retail store in July. Triathletes can shop for their swimming, running and bicycling gear, including wet suits, goggles, bicycle wheels and other accessories, heart rate monitors, transition running shoes and more. K Moreno Design opened May 1 in Alexander’s Fine Art’s old space on Main Street in Pleasanton. The 1,500 square-foot home decorating studio showcases furniture, lighting, window treatments and accessories and offers interior design services.
