Here's this week's round-up of news in Pleasanton.

In case you missed it, here are the story highlights for this week.

  • Locked out Castlewood Country Club workers and management went back to the bargaining table on april 27 but came out with no agreement, despite increasing political support for the workers from local officials.
  • A former Pleasanton resident and San Ramon Valley High School athlete was arrested for attempted rape last week at UC Davis.
  • The City of Pleasanton plans to negotiate with their opponents in the housing cap lawsuit. City Council members voted unanimously to settle and have until July to comply with Superior Court Judge's ruling to remove the housing  cap from its general plan.   • The school board picked Fremont Administrator Parvin Ahmadi to be the next superintendent. Ahmadi, who is head of instruction at her current district, said she is prepared to face the school's future budget challenges.
  • The Dons won over the Falcons in a baseball rivalry game on April 29. Check out our photos and videos of the game.
