Visit the Patch Booth at First Wednesday this Week

First Wednesday will fall on the second Wednesday this month. Stop by to meet some of our Tri-Valley area staffers and pick up some cool Patchy swag.

Pleasanton’s legendary First Wednesday Street Parties in May, June, July, August and September are well-known among Pleasantonians and residents of neighboring cities alike.

Once a month, Main Street is filled with vendor booths where pedestrians can learn more about local businesses and services while shopping, enjoying a delicious meal and rocking out to live music.

Because July 4, 2012 lands on the first Wednesday of the month, our July Street Party will take place on the “Second Wednesday” – July 11.

Laura Olson, Executive Director of the Pleasanton Downtown Association (PDA), said, “Our staff and board agreed that moving our First Wednesday to the second Wednesday in July was the best way to proceed. We didn’t want to cancel an event that is so beloved by our community. We’re trying to get the word out as early as possible so the residents are aware of this change.”

According to the pleasantondowntown.net, Main Street will be closed from Del Valle Parkway to Bernal Avenue from 4:30 to 10 p.m for the event.
