Saturday night brought us Super Moon 2012.
A Super Moon occurs when the moon goes into its full phase at the same time it approaches Earth at the shortest possible point in its orbit—an event known as a perigee. Click through this NASA video to learn more about it.
To sum it up, the moon was supposed to look super big and bright Saturday night.
Did you see it? Or better yet, did you take photos, like this one by Patch writer Wendy Smith? If so, add them to this story by clicking the "Upload Photos and Videos" button underneath the main photo.
We'd love to see what you saw.
