Past Comes Alive with Pleasanton History Walks

This free event through Museum on Main happens every fourth Saturday beginning June 25.

If you want to get a feel for how a stroll down Main Street 100 years ago would have looked,  can help. 

It's offering to take people on a walk that will discover the rich history of downtown Pleasanton. Hosts will take participants to the old Town Hall, the Roxy Theatre, the site of the first hotel in Pleasanton and the oldest building in downtown.

The museum invites people to join the free Pleasanton History Walk, which happen the fouth Saturday of the month, beginning June 25.

Tours, which depart the museum at 2 p.m., cover about a mile in 1½ hours. They are appropriate for all ages and handicapped accessible.

Tours —  June 25, July 23,  August 27 and September 24— are limited to 25  people, so get there early.
