Bay City News Service

A Mega Millions remains unclaimed, California Lottery officials said Friday.

The ticket was sold for the Sept. 10 draw at Cole's Market at 4277 First St. in Pleasanton.

It successfully matched five numbers- 20, 5, 33, 36 and 11 -- but missed the Mega number of 11.

The actual winning ticket must be presented to lottery officials for the prize to be claimed.

Mega Millions is played in 44 jurisdictions, including California.

Many thanks to Police/Animal Services. Next order of business is to educate residents not to allowRead More ducks to nest on their property that is not adjacent to natural waterways or canals - it may seem cute, but it's cruel when the mama duck loses babies to cats and storm drains.
