Power Outage for 300 Customers in Pleasanton, Out in Livemore

The power is back on for Dublin but still out in Pleasanton and Livermore

The power was out this morning for residents in Dublin. According to the PG&E website, the outage was due to "planned maintenance work that we are performing in your area." The power has since been restored.

In Pleasanton, the power is still out to about almost 300 customers and the cause of the outage was "damage to an underground power cable," according to PG&E. The website estimates service will be restored around 10:35 a.m.

About 70 customers are without power in Livermore and the PG&E estimates the power will be back on at 1:15 p.m.

Patch will update this story as we get more information.

Many thanks to Police/Animal Services. Next order of business is to educate residents not to allowRead More ducks to nest on their property that is not adjacent to natural waterways or canals - it may seem cute, but it's cruel when the mama duck loses babies to cats and storm drains.
