Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation's 3rd Annual “Party Palooza” to Help Cancer Patients

The nonprofit will have eight individual events to raise money for cancer patients.

The third annual “Party Palooza” is coming to the Tri-Valley in September, October and November to benefit the Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation.

The nonprofit will have eight individual events to raise money for cancer patients.

These special events are smaller-scale social and fun events, hosted by local residents, with all proceeds going to the foundation. 

Included in this year's events are  "A Passage to India," an evening of Indian food and entertainment on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Back by popular demand will be the third annual “Soups of the World” will take place on Saturday Oct. 22.

And "Holiday Magic with The Shapiro's," an evening of gourmet food and beverages, will be hosted by local philanthropists Bob and Joyce Shapiro on Nov. 10.

“We were so thrilled at the response for the last two years,” said founder Sandra J. Wing, a cancer survivor.

“Party Palooza and other donations helped us provide financial assistance so far to over 75 patients.”

About Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation

The Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation provides funds so that cancer patients can experience the immediate benefit of complementary therapies to help alleviate the side effects caused by radiation and chemotherapy.

These therapies include: guided/visual imagery, acupuncture, acupressure, therapeutic massage and deep breathing meditation.

The Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation reaches out to anyone with verifiable cancer and is under the care of a physician; is receiving cancer treatment; does not have insurance that will cover the cost of these therapies; and resides in Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon or Danville.
