Americana Music Weekend, Festival Square. Children's Arts, Ghirardelli Chocolate Championship, Acapella Vocalist Sam Rogers, Swing Jazz BIG Band, Live Zydeco, Zydeco Flames, Zydeco Dancing Lessons.

There will be a leather mural honoring four slain Oakland police officers at the Alameda County Fair, Building C.

The 'Elvis Cycle' exhibit will showcase a replica of Elvis Presley's prized Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Solar Car Contest, Science and Outdoor Adventure, 4 p.m.

At the Race Tracks: First race is at 12:45 p.m.

Getting There:

• General parking at the Fairgrounds, $8, Preferred Parking (Gate 8), $15
• BART Shuttle available from  the Dublin/Pleasanton station
• Catch a Wheels Route 10 bus, which has a drop-off at the intersection of Peters and Rose Avenue. Walk two blocks to the East Gate entrance of the Fairgrounds.
