Book Signing, Reading With Maureen Ann Richards Kostalnick at Towne Center Books

Maureen Ann Richards Kostalnick, author of “The Butternut Tree” and “Maureen And Billy The Bad Kids,” will speak and read selections from her new children’s series book at Towne Center Books in Pleasanton on April 12, 2014 at 5:30PM

Maureen is excited to launch her Children’s Series, “Maureen And Billy, The Bad Kids.” This is the first book in a series that will help children, parents and teachers utilize reading material as a way to discuss topics such as integrity, honesty, family, charity, and empathy. This first book focuses on integrity.

The children’s series is co-authored by leading physician and psychiatrist, Daniel J. Kostalnick, MD and focuses on several positive character traits, which includes a teacher and parent discussion guide.

Maureen began her writing career as a humor writer for the American Greeting Card Company in 1959.

Her first novel, “The Butternut Tree,” is a coming of age novel based on a true story of an unspeakable crime and is available online and in bookstores.

Maureen Kostalnick lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has dedicated her life to her family, and to working with children as a sign language interpreter for the deaf. Maureen is widely recognized as an advocate for children with disabilities.
