Shakespeare Camp in Pleasanton

This wildly popular program (now in its 22nd season) for kids ages 7-13 is both fun and enriching! Campers learn all about the world of theater and performance from trained theater professionals in a creative and supportive environment. Experience is welcome but not required.

Shakespeare Camp provides training in:

  •  Shakespeare's rich language
  •  Acting and improvisation
  •  Voice projection and movement
  •  Stage combat
  •  Set and Costume design and more!

On the final day, campers utilize their newly developed talents and skills in an abridged performance of The Taming of the Shrew or The Comedy of Errors, followed by a celebratory cast party! Family and friends are encouraged to attend the shows and festivities.

Camp meets weekdays, from 9am-3pm, with aftercare available until 5:30pm. All scripts, materials and supplies for both weeks are included in the low fee of $524 (or with aftercare, $664). Need-based scholarship assistance available - call for information. 415-558-0888
