The 'ark' is set to sail.......at the Noah's Flood' Opera

Britten's Noah's Flood (Noye's  Fludde), an event you truly don't
want to miss!

To celebrate the centenary of the most celebrated British composer of the

20th century, Benjamin Britten, Cantabella Children’s Chorus and St.

Bartholomew’s
Episcopal Church is performing his much-loved opera, Noye’s Fludde
(Noah’s
Flood) with children from the around the Tri-Valley. This one-act
opera has it all - the cutest ark animals, dancing birds,
Noah's family played by our own Cantabella youth principals, and
prominent soloists Roberto Gomez and The Rev. Joyce Parry Moore as Mr.
and Mrs. Noah, and you –
singing along in three hymn-like setting! Add a
live orchestra, custom set design, lighting and costuming, and you will
feel
the magic of the story brought to life!

miracle and celebration of youth, community and opera on the 100th birthday of
Benjamin Britten.
