Beginning 11/6/2011, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Dept. (LPFD) Local 1974 is collecting toys for Toys for Tots to help bring holiday cheer to children of families in need. Donations are critical this year since several charitable organizations who have beein involved in past years are unable to due to shortages of funding. LPFD Local 1974's goal is to collect 20,000 toys which will be distributed to Valley children through Trivalley Haven.
