The Hersevoort family expresses their thanks to the community after the loss of their beloved Diana Hersevoort, who was a wife and mother.

Joe Hersevoort wrote, via email:

To our community,

We would like to thank everybody for their thoughts, prayers and support for the loss of our Diana. She was a kind and wonderful woman so full of love for the world.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
Joe Hersevoort and Family

Hersevoort, 58, and her husband were hit while riding their bicycles on Foothill Road in Pleasanton by an 18-year-old driver while riding their bicycles on June 9. Hersevoort has been remembered as a "bright and loving person."

Hersevoort's husband, Joe Hersevoort, who was also hit during the collision, told Patch in a previous article, "Her name was Diana. She was the love of my life."

A celebration of Hersevoort's life was held on June 23  at the Heritage Park in Dublin.
