Hiring fairs for the new will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 11 and Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 from 10 a.m – 2 p.m at the , 4444 East Avenue in Livermore. No registration required. Fifty employers out of the 120 are expected to participate in the job fairs which are a collaboration between the City of Livermore, the Alameda County Workforce Investment Board (ACWIB), the , the , and Paragon Outlets Livermore Valley LLC.
Before the job fairs, workshops on resume critiquing, interview techniques, customer service, and employment applications are scheduled on Tuesday, Aug. 28 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Robert Livermore Community Center. The workshops, offered at no cost to participants, are sponsored by the City of Livermore and the ACWIB. Workshops start at 10:15 am.
