The , which began in a small Fremont backyard and grew to an event big enough to hold at the , is back for its 20th year.
This is only the event's second year at the fairgrounds, however.
In addition to the special effects, robotics and animation, cast members are positioned throughout the 5-acre maze. Their main intention? To scare you.

The event is open from 7:05 p.m. to 10 p.m. starting today, Friday, through Halloween. However, check the calendar for exact dates because the production crew does take some days off.
