"Hayashi Shows Her Contempt for Voters"

But, Mary Hayashi also thought the Neiman Marcus employees would not recognize her. That she could just walk on in, shoplift and walk on out without getting arrested.

Hayashi headlines today's editorial in the Contra Costa County Times. The CCT recognizes Mary Hayashi's contempt and her repudiation of her constituents in .

I believe it would be replacing one disgrace with another disgrace. In a recent point counter point, on Patch those voicing non-support of Mary Hayashi was 97% verses those that voiced support at 3%.

The CCT has it right in today's editorial and in three previous editorials, called for Mary Hayashi's resignation. This blogger has called for Mary Hayashi's resignation in three previous blogs on Patch.

Hayashi's District Manager, Christopher Parman does not return my email inquiries, when I ask questions regarding Hayashi's intentions for the Alameda County Supervisor seat vacated by the Nadia Lockyear resignation.

Hayashi has repeatedly ignored her constituents, repeatedly treated her constituents with contempt and repeatedly treated her constituents with disrespect.

In an interview with Bay Area News group's (CCT) political reporter Josh Richman, Hayashi gave her first and only interview since her

Hayashi acknowledged that her court case will come up, but she didn't seem bothered. "My opponents may use the issue to try to smear me, but I trust the voters to be smarter that that," Hayashi said.

The CCT editorial remarked, "Smear? - Again, - really? Yes, we, too, trust the voters are smart. We hope they are smarter than Hayashi seems to think they are."

Hayashi presented the silly story of a Than after her plea to misdemeanor theft she claimed the benign brain tumor is not a factor in her ability to serve in the assembly.

Ever since Mary Hayashi was arrested for shoplifting I wandered if she kept the clothing items she stole, or if she returned them to Neiman Marcus, or if she paid for them and kept them.

I also wandered if when she appeared in public, if what she was wearing was shoplifted or paid for. Neiman Marcus employees remembered her from a previous visit to the store.

In That previous visit to Neiman Marcus by Hayashi, a dress came up missing. When Hayashi made a return visit, the employees immediately recognized her and alerted security.

Security videotaped Mary Hayashi during her return visit and captured her on video stealing. She exited Neiman Marcus without paying for the clothing items she secreted in her shoulder bag. Police were called, Hayashi was arrested.

Mary expects the voters in Hayward and out lying unincorporated areas will suffice to get her elected to the Alameda County seat. I believe she knows full well that the voters in Castro Valley and the Tri Valley would never vote for her again.

Although the Tri Valley does not vote for district two, Mary knows she could not win a dog catcher election in this area. She believes the voters in Hayward area are easily convinced to put her in office.

But Mary also thought the Neiman Marcus employees would not recognize her. That she could just walk on in, shoplift and walk on out without getting arrested.

It is not real often that we have a candidate for county office that is so blatanly dishonest, so blantanly despicable, so totally unresponsive to constituents, and absolutely believes she is intitled to the position.

Mary Hayashi believes the voters are smart enough to not know her criminal record. Just like Mary Hayashi believed the Neiman Marcus employees would not know her visit needed security attention.
