“What a blessing for our community that New Leaf opened,” said holistic chef Suzanne Aziz, who had been waiting for a healthy, organic market in Pleasanton for a long time.  “They carry seasonal organic and local produce. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. I love shopping there while I enjoy a fresh organic veggie juice from the juice bar,” she said.

Pleasanton Councilwoman Cheryl Cook-Kallio is also enthusiastic: “I am delighted to see this community-minded, neighborhood market operating in Pleasanton. New Leaf Community Markets has an emphasis on organics and sustainability. It is an excellent fit for the center and the nearby neighborhoods.”

During its first year, New Leaf Donated over $16,000 to community  groups and participated in many civic activities.

New Leaf Community Markets, located at 3550 Bernal Ave in the Vintage Hills Shopping Center in Pleasanton, is open daily from 8 am to 9 pm. For more information about New Leaf, visit www.facebook.com/NewLeafPleasanton.
