Pleasanton - Your Mayor is leaving for New York on election night. Getting out of Dodge???

Some more poison emails from your Mayor...who is too busy getting on a plane to New York to describe the "overboard" efforts of the City of Pleasanton...why is she leaving our city on election night? 

My email, responding to her what I would like the City of Pleasanton to do:

"Support military support organizations as they support our troops – whether it means stopping traffic for 5 minutes at an intersection so the procession can go through, allowing them on Main Street, showing up at Welcome Homes – Jerry Thorne has been at every one of them I have been at in Pleasanton.

 Again, I would also appreciate you describing how Pleasanton goes “overboard” (your word, not mine): “I read thru your note carefully as I think the city of Pleasanton has gone overboard (in a good way) to honor our family and friends” Can you answer that question?" Patricia

From your Mayor:

"I surely can!  We have and will continue to do far more than most cities because its the right thing to do!  Ask any of our wonderful vets and they will say the same." Jennifer

My reply:

"Can you describe what you have done?" Patricia  Simple question really - wouldn't you say?  Especially since the City of Pleasanton supposedly goes "overboard" -- you would think she could rattle off a laundry list in 5 minutes.

The Mayor's Response:

"No time now  I'm arching a plane. Call our local vets and they will give you a laundry list you will be proud of!" Jennifer

Now too be fair, I am assuming she meant boarding a plane (darn autocorrect - especially when somone is worked up).  She could have meant launching a plan, or piloting a plane, but I don't think so.

My response (a tad sarcastic) - hoping for something brief:

"You have nothing you can recollect? Sad." Patricia

The Mayor's response (evasive again):
"I'm afraid I don't have time to list off everything I and the council have done over the last decade. I am off to New York. You need to do your own research if you demand immediate answers. I would start with the local VFW 6298. David Ham could be very helpful. Sentinels of Freedom would be helpful. Lisa at the city, 9315003 can get a good number for you. I hope you find this helpful." Jennifer 

No time for a quick list but you could type that whole paragraph??? Interesting.  Mayor, you likely want to give it up.
