Shortly after midnight, on Sunday, 09/16/12, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Ashland Village Apartment complex, in unincorporated San Leandro, regarding a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, Sheriff’s Deputies discovered a

25-year-old male inside his apartment suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was subsequently pronounced dead at the
scene. Detectives have identified 18 year-old Hugo Viveros and then 17 year-old Edward Allen (now 18 years-old), both of San Leandro, as suspects in the murder.
