Arson is supected in fires reported last week in an elementary-school dumpster and under a downtown bridge, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.
A suspicious brushfire in a creekbed under the bridge at Main Street and Del Valle Parkway was extinguished quickly Friday afternoon by the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department, police said.
And on Saturday afternoon, a fire was set in a dumpster behind Vintage Hills Elementary School, police said.
No injuries or significant damage were logged in either case, both currently under investigation.
