Bathroom Fire Causes Family to be Displaced

No one was injured during the fire. The cause of the fire is not known.

Information from the Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department--

On June 30, 2013, the Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 265 Rachael Pl., Pleasanton.  Five Engine Companies, one Truck Company, and two Chief Officers responded to the fire.  A total of 22 personnel from the LPFD responded to this incident.  Paramedics Plus and Pleasanton PD also responded to the Rachael St. Fire.  


The Alameda County Fire Department provided an Engine Company for station coverage in Pleasanton while the remaining available LPFD resources were diminished.

The LPFD was dispatched at 7:13 PM, and the first engine arrived at 7:18 PM. The residents were not home at the time of the fire.  The adjoining units were evacuated during the incident, but the occupants were later allowed home.  The fire was located in the second story bathroom, and extinguished by 7:23 PM.  The LPFD remained on the scene for investigation, salvage, and overhaul purposes until 10:40 PM.  

There were no injuries associated with this fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.  One family was relocated. The dollar loss 
amount has not yet been determined.
