UPDATE: Sig-Alert Canceled for Westbound I-580

The fire was reported on Highway 580 near Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton but the actual location was soon found to be westbound Highway 580 just west of Airway Boulevard in Livermore.

Update—

The California Highway Patrol has canceled a Sig-alert on westbound Interstate Highway 580 in Alameda County near the Livermore Valley after a big-rig fire this morning.
 
The fire was initially reported on westbound Highway 580 near Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton around 6 a.m., according to the CHP.
 
The location was revised to westbound Highway 580 just west of Airway Boulevard in Livermore shortly after 6:30 a.m., the CHP said.
 
The CHP issued a Sig-alert around 6:10 a.m. and one right lane was blocked to motorists. The Sig-alert was canceled shortly before 6:45 a.m., according to the CHP.

The California Highway Patrol has issued a Sig-alert on westbound
Interstate Highway 580 in Pleasanton due to a big-rig on fire this morning.

The fire was reported on westbound Highway 580 near Santa Rita Road around 6 a.m., according to the CHP.

The CHP issued a Sig-alert around 6:10 a.m. and there is no estimated time of when lanes will reopen.
