A male bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in the area of Owens Court and Owens Drive around 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, Livermore Pleasanton Fire Captain Jason Solak said.
"The bicyclist was conscious and alert and was transported to Eden Trauma Center as a precaution," said Solak. "He did not appear to have any life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle did stop and neither the driver nor the passenger of the car had any injuries."
Patch reader, Jennifer Sandomenico, emailed Patch after passing the collision in the road.
"My family and I were driving tonight in Pleasanton on Owens Drive. We saw a fire truck and a police car at the intersection after turning left from Hopyard (coming from Dublin). Then we saw what looked like a young adult on the ground next to a bicycle and a car in the middle of the street."
Solak says also responded and are investigating the collision. Pleasanton Police did not give comment about this collision.
