No one was injured during the collision, according to fire officials

Information from the Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department--

On July 1, 2013 at 8:12 a.m. the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department (LPFD) received a call for the report of a car into a building at 751 St. Michael Circle in Pleasanton. The first LPFD unit arrived on scene at 8:15 a.m. and found a single vehicle into one unit of a condominium building.

The LPFD checked for injuries or entrapment and found that the vehicle occupants were out of the vehicle and unhurt. No one was in the condominium unit at the time of the collision.

The collision did sever the water line to the residence causing flooding to the first floor as well as damaging the electrical wiring to the residence. Firefighters shut down the utilities to the condominium and performed water removal.

The LPFD also requested a City of Pleasanton Building Official and PG&E to the scene for safety assessments. The building was deemed to be structurally intact, but water and electrical remained off for repairs. The driver of the vehicle, an adult female, was also the owner of the condominium.

It was uncertain whether the residents would be able to return to the condominium today. The Pleasanton Police Department is handling the traffic investigation.
