Father of Fatal Bike Collision Suspect to be Arraigned Thursday
Aaron Hall of Pleasanton will face multiple felony charges for having illegal assault rifles and thousands of rounds of ammunition in his home, discovered during a police search.
A Pleasanton man whose son is a suspect in a fatal bicycle collision will be in court Thursday to face multiple felony charges.

Aaron Hall is expected to enter a plea at the Gale-Schenone Hall of Justice in
Pleasanton for charges including: possession of a firearm by a felon, possession
of an assault weapon, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, and
possession of a controlled substance, according to officials at the Alameda County District Attorney's Office.
While serving a search warrant on June 30 relating to a fatal collision Hall’s son is suspected of being involved in, police say they recovered two illegal assault rifles and thousands of rounds of ammunition inside a safe in Hall’s home.

Cody Hall, 18, is suspected of driving his vehicle into a Dublin couple in early June as they rode their bicycles on Foothill Road, killing 58-year-old Diana Hersevoort and injuring her husband.
According to police officials, Aaron Hall has two felony convictions and cannot be in possession of any firearm. Hall turned himself in to the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin on July 11 where he was booked and released on bail, police said.
