UPDATE: Gas Leak at Owens and Willow Fixed, Police Reopening Area

A gas leak in the area of Owens Drive and Willow has been fixed.

A gas leak reported earlier at Owens Dr. and Willow Road is now fixed, according to a NIXLE Alert from Pleasanton Police.

Around 2:30 p.m., construction crews struck a 4-inch natural gas line on the 5800 block of Owens Drive. Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department responded and issued a shelter in place which included the neighboring Battalion Chief Joe Testa told Pleasanton Patch.

Owens Drive was shut down from Willow to Hopyard for about 30 minutes Testa said.

After PG&E got to the scene, Pleasanton Police Department reopened the area to traffic.
