Jackknifed Big Rig Blocking All Northbound I-680 Lanes Early Tuesday Morning

The crash occurred south of Pleasanton's Sunol Road and north of Koopman Road shortly before midnight.

All lanes are blocked by a jackknifed tractor-trailer on northbound Interstate Highway 680 just south of Pleasanton in Alameda County this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to the CHP, the big rig crashed south of Pleasanton Sunol Road and north of Koopman Road shortly before midnight.

A Sig-alert was issued at 12:15 a.m., according to the CHP.

Crews remain on scene removing oil that spilled in the far left lane.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and encouraged to avoid the area, according to the CHP.
